nodenaysteen / DeNode sits on the river Leie, in the heart of Ghent — by St Michael's Bridge, a few minutes from the Korenmarkt. The street is car-free: the last stretch is always on foot, along the water.

On foot

From the Korenmarkt, walk towards St Michael's Bridge and take the quay down to your left just before the bridge: that is Predikherenlei — number 4 sits on the waterfront, directly opposite St Michael's Church and Het Pand (± 3 minutes, without crossing the water). From Ghent-Sint-Pieters railway station it is a ± 30-minute walk through the city centre.

By bike

By bike you get almost to the door. Park free of charge and under cover in the Korenmarkt bicycle parking — literally underneath St Michael's Bridge, one minute from the gallery (210 spaces, max. 48 hours).

By tram or bus

The Gent Korenmarkt stop is ± 250 metres away. Please note: due to major works in Ghent's city centre (2026–2029) tram and bus services change regularly — plan your journey in advance via delijn.be. From Ghent-Sint-Pieters station there is always a connection towards Korenmarkt.

By car

You cannot drive up to the door: the gallery lies in the car-free zone and in Ghent's low-emission zone (LEZ). Park at Parking Sint-Michiels (Sint-Michielsplein 8) — underground, open 24/7, 465 spaces, a ± 3-minute walk from the gallery: cross St Michael's Bridge and turn right into Predikherenlei on the other side. Follow "zone Korenmarkt" on the digital road signs.

Good to know: the car park uses number-plate recognition (no ticket), payment is electronic only, maximum entry height is 2.00 m and LPG vehicles are not allowed. Check the live occupancy before you leave.

Accessibility

nodenaysteen is a historic building: not all spaces are wheelchair-accessible yet — we are working on it. Parking Sint-Michiels has 3 accessible parking spaces and a lift. Let us know in advance via info@denode.be or +32 488 88 08 89 and we will make sure you can see as much as possible.
