Nearly 300 pages of inner struggle, populated by angels and demons. Give me a sketchbook to live in (Stichting DeNode, 2026) gathers more than twenty years of Kat Bové's work in a limited run. The book opens with the warning 'DON'T READ A WORD IN THIS DIARY, OTHERWISE KARMA WILL FIND YOU' and ends with 'FUCK DE MENSEN'.
Bové's work balances between drawing and painting, between the cheerful façade and the vulnerability behind it. In 2024 she won the PUSH prize at Picturale in Ronse; in spring 2025 she showed her work at nodenaysteen with the solo exhibition Who is your God, Where is She (15 March – 13 April 2025, finissage 27 April).
