From Thursday 1 July 2021, a first temporary installation is presented in the display window of the building, under the title EXPOnential. It is a realisation by Philippe Van De Velde after an idea by Paul De Cannière (programming by Quint Daenen / Allusion). We show you a video installation in which the projection of the footage is repeated on different carriers, while the rhythm of the repetition slows down exponentially. It is version 0.1 of a proof of concept around Art ⧞ Technology. The montage can be seen all summer in the display window of Predikherenlei 4, Ghent.
Renovation works start in the autumn, to (re)build the premises into an accessible venue.
