“My work is rooted in process, embracing a multitude of working methods to explore the distinction between digital and analog, artistic and technical, through a DIY approach. Each process forms a new model for another and leads to a hybrid practice that I consider the alchemy of printmaking.

I create conditions in which materials can organically take shape, like geological formations, where process-driven layering reflects the forces that shape stone. This lends a sense of structure and tension, resonating with my interest in challenging distinctions and letting one process shape another. I move freely between the roles of artist and designer, embracing the fluidity between these identities, thereby creating abstract works that trace each other’s intersecting paths.”

Liselotte Van Daele took part in the group exhibition (expo)nentieel at DeNode (2024–2025, curator Hilde Van Canneyt).
