Nancy La Rosa is a Peruvian artist who works with drawings, prints, photography, video, and installation. She refers to different forms of land exploitation and the power dynamics one observes in their imagery. Her research deals with how places are experienced, represented, and valued.
La Rosa traces the life of the exploited materials—minerals or plants—as well as their agency and the way they lend meaning to various lives.
