DeNode Foundation — March 2026
Dear visitor, supporter, friend,
We would like to draw your attention to some special activities of the DeNode Foundation
DeNode Foundation proudly presents Kat Bové - Give me a sketchbook to live in — Artist Book, Limited Edition
You may have already been assisted by Kat Bové on a Brussels Airlines flight or seen her on the program "Welcome on Board" (VTM).
You might have seen her painting live during a "Sprekende Ezels" evening or attended one of her solo exhibitions in 2025 in Bree or Ghent (DeNode)
Kat Bové divides her life between her family, flying, and her artistic work.
For thirty years, KAT has documented her busy existence in diaries and in images. Photography, drawings, paintings, and quotes together form a visual diary.
In this book, text and image merge into one personal universe. KAT's oeuvre moves between opposites: vulnerability and strength, concealment and revelation, light and dark, humor and sadness. Behind the polished exterior lies a fragile inner world.
This book is an invitation to look at the contradictions that KAT holds dear. The book shows a world that is afraid of emptiness, that howls and roars, and occasionally falls silent in primordial stillness.
This publication is conceived as an artist's book. An intimate object, produced in a limited edition, designed as an extension of Kat Bové's artistic practice.
On Saturday, March 21, we celebrate Kat Bové and her first publication.
The artist will sign, her 'sister' will sing, a tattoo artist will ink KAT quotes on your arms and legs, all accompanied by a bite and a drink.
Welcome to Predikherenlei 2 in Ghent this coming Saturday, March 21 from 5 PM to 9 PM

DeNode Foundation proudly presents the Hemisphere of the Earth — Ritual, Process & the Collapse of Image
Performance, workshop, and discussion on Wednesday, March 25 with John Robinson
Performance:
Experience the boundaries of authorship and control during 'The Hemisphere of the Earth', a collective séance and performative activation inspired by Dante's cosmology.
Seated at a table covered with a black cloth, your sight is lifted; blindfolded and in a trance-like state, you let the hand take over from the eye.
In this "Blind Image" experience, the focus is not on the result, but on the automatic gesture and surrender to the unknown. Become part of a growing artistic universe where we do not produce a ready-made image together, but leave a raw and honest trace in time.
Discussion:
Dive deeper into the world of contemporary performance on March 25 during an exclusive program. In this stimulating session with artist John Robinson, Shakthi Shrima (conceptual framework), and DeNode Foundation, we will explore together with the audience how performance functions as a foundation in the artistic process and as an exhibition concept.
We will explore the tension between ritual and image, the power of collective failure, and how the physical remnants of an action can transform a space. An essential moment for students and art lovers who want to understand how an artistic process takes possession of a space.
You are warmly welcome to this engaging Wednesday evening, March 25 from 6 PM to 9 PM.
If you wish to actively participate in the performance, please register via info@denode.be.
