With this short note, we would like to personally invite you to the opening of People Ruin Paintings, the first solo presentation in Ghent by British artist John Robinson, curated by Stichting DeNode.

The evening will unfold as a live experience. The performances at this opening are not merely an addition to the exhibition - they are its source.
Various performative moments will take place throughout the building - intimate, physical, and unpredictable. This exhibition questions what painting means today - where it begins, what it destroys, and what ultimately remains.
