This weekend at DeNode: first Fabulist workshop (Sat 2 pm) and allesgut booktalk (Sun 11 am)

Last Friday allesgut opened to a full gallery and warm reactions — thank you to everyone who came. The exhibition runs until Sunday 4 October, and this weekend two things happen.

Saturday 19 September, 2 – 5:30 pm — Become a Fabulist, workshop 1

This week Monsieur Térez begins his residency at DeNode (15 September – 15 October). Five free workshops, for young and old, no artistic experience needed: 19 and 26 September, 3, 7 and 10 October, each from 2 to 5:30 pm. Inventing fables and new creatures together — the material grows into the exhibition Humanimality — The fabulous fables of Monsieur Térez, opening Friday 16 October at 6 pm (on view until 20 December).

Sunday 20 September, 11 am – 1 pm — Booktalk allesgut

Kristof Vander Cruyssen talks with Björn Wandels, with Anja Hellebaut, who designed the exhibition's scenography, and with Luc Derycke of MER Books. About a book that may be an exhibition, and the other way round. Free entry, no registration needed. More about the booktalk
