DeNode Foundation — September 2026
Björn Wandels — allesgut — Opening & book launch: Friday 11 September 2026, 6 pm

We warmly invite you to the opening & book launch.
Can a book become an exhibition?
With allesgut, Björn Wandels presents a project in which book and exhibition are two forms of one autonomous artwork. The artist book grew out of a years-long process of collecting, ordering and reordering images. For Wandels, images never stand alone; they always point to other images, to memories and to possible new connections.

The exhibition translates the logic of the book into space. Images, sequences and connections are released from the book and take on a new spatial constellation in the exhibition room. After the vitrine projects of 2024, allesgut is Björn Wandels' first solo exhibition at DeNode Foundation.

The artist book is published by MER Books in co-production with DeNode Foundation, in a limited edition of 400 copies. The scenography of the exhibition was designed by Anja Hellebaut.

€ 38 (+ € 7 shipping) — on sale from now on: receive it at the opening, collect it afterwards at the foundation, or we send it to you.
Paid for shipping but dropping by after all? We turn the postage into drink tokens at the opening.

Predikherenlei 4, 9000 Ghent
Opening hours during the exhibition: Thursday to Saturday 2–6 pm, Sunday 11 am–5 pm, or by appointment via kristof@denode.be.
The Predikherenlei is car-free — you walk the last stretch along the water, from the Sint-Michiels bridge. By car: Parking Sint-Michiels, about 3 minutes away. By bike: the free bicycle parking at Korenmarkt, right under the bridge. More at visit.
nodenaysteen is a historic building; not all rooms are wheelchair accessible yet. Let us know about your visit in advance via info@denode.be or +32 488 88 08 89, and we will make sure you can see as much as possible.
From 15 September to 15 October, DeNode turns into the Fabulisterie, the living studio of Monsieur Térez. Anyone who wants to can join in building Humanimality: painting, building, inventing fables. No artistic experience is needed — curiosity is enough. Take part in one session, or in several.
