Chantal Pollier works stone as if it were alive. Her sculptures — often in marble — seek the point where hardness and vulnerability meet: landscapes of flesh, skin as topography, scars as relief. Her works evoke archaeological finds, from a distant antiquity or just as easily from the future; transience is not loss but revelation.
At DeNode she presented the duo exhibition Vestiges together with Guillaume Van Moerkercke (2025, curator Kristof Vander Cruyssen); the duo also created the sleeve artwork for the Vestiges LP, the vinyl release by cellist Robrecht Kessels rooted in the exhibition.
